About the Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying, and resolving drug-related problems to assure patient safety, improve patient satisfaction, and minimize costs.
  • Actively perform all pharmacy functions and maintain active proficiency in standard work parameters.
  • Oversee appropriate utilization of medication automation, technology, and computer systems.
  • Accurately oversee the management of medication inventories and the preparation and dispensing of patient-specific medication doses.
  • Complete critical medication order scrutiny, drug profile review, and patient monitoring to identify, prevent, or mitigate medication-related problems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy, or other advanced pharmacy degree.
  • PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or three years of clinical pharmacy experience.
  • Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Applicable State Pharmacy License.
