Job Summary:

James Free Jewelers, a family-owned, nationally renowned jeweler, is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional buying experiences for our clients, showcasing our luxurious products, and exceeding their expectations at every point of contact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide positive, personalized sales and service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Product Knowledge: Engage guests at the point of sale with product insights, selection, and financing options, highlighting the unique features and benefits of our luxury products.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Ensure that point of sale functions are consistent, correct, and that all relevant information and documents are shared with every guest.
  • Reconciliation and Auditing: Perform daily reconciliation of receipts and preparation of daily deposits, as well as audit POS transactions to ensure compliance with business and operational rules.
  • Brand Awareness: Increase brand awareness and guest base through direct sales, relationship building, and marketing events, working collaboratively with team members to achieve goals and maintain James Free standards throughout store operations.
  • Transaction and Record Keeping: Ensure that transactions, record keeping, inventory, and reporting are performed consistently and in accordance with company guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to deliver outstanding guest service.
  • Relationship Building: Skilled in building rapport and effectively managing guest relationships.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Internal Motivation: High level of internal motivation and desire to achieve goals with excellence.
  • Professionalism: Desire to represent the James Free brand with professionalism and integrity.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, PC applications, and standard office equipment.
  • Experience: 2- or 3-years' experience in retail and POS preferred; experience in luxury retail, or diamond, jewelry, and Swiss timepiece sales a plus.
