About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dynamic Operations Leader to oversee daily operations at our site, ensuring seamless execution of business activities while collaborating on company-wide initiatives and goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence: Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
  • Order Cycle Management: Direct, optimize, and coordinate the full order cycle, from receipt to fulfillment, to meet customer expectations.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, track quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency to ensure seamless operations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and facilitate training of technical and warehouse workforce, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Incident Management: Resolve internal or external incidents or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive reputation.
  • Compliance and Safety: Work with the HR department to ensure safety standards are met and maintained, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets, analyzing and reporting data to maintain metrics and assess performance.
  • Vendor Management: Analyze and ensure accuracy of vendor invoices, coordinating corrections as needed, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
  • Travel and Miscellaneous: Travel to company HQ in Cleveland, OH 2-4 times per year, and complete related duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain, or equivalent work experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in standard logistics software, with experience in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Soft Skills: Logical and systematic approach to work, excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.

Performance Requirements

  • Attendance and Punctuality: Maintain regular and reliable attendance to the satisfaction of management.
  • Technical Competence: Operate a computer and other position-related technologies proficiently.
  • Flexibility: Work flexible hours as needed, maintaining a positive attitude and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Communication: Clearly and confidentially communicate with TruWest employees and other stakeholders, adhering to all TruWest Values at all times.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Location: Based in Cleveland, OH, with travel to company HQ 2-4 times per year.
