Job SummaryThis Senior Engineer role supports the development of our next-generation biosensor product, focusing on clinical data analysis and sensor algorithm verification and improvement. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to support R&D product development data analysis needs.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze unstructured and structured biological data from biosensor clinical trials to evaluate biosensor performance and support product design.
- Proactively identify improvement opportunities for sensor product design and/or manufacturing process.
- Apply analytical and data mining techniques on large clinical datasets and conduct advanced statistical analysis, including regression, time-series forecasting, decision trees, modeling, and optimization.
- Support the implementation, testing, and verification of product algorithms from a systems perspective.
- Design and develop signal processing algorithms as needed to improve product features and/or biosensor performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related physical or life science.
- Master's or above preferred. 6+ years of relevant experience and a BS degree, or 4+ years of relevant experience and a MS degree, or equivalent years of education and experience in Engineering and Sciences.
- MATLAB programming proficiency is required.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with biological data analysis, statistical analysis, signal processing algorithm development, and software programming.
- Additional skills with software tools such as Python, C/C++, JMP, and R are a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of design controls and regulations for medical device development is a plus.
The base pay for this position is $95,500.00 – $190,900.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
