Position Summary:
The Senior Mechanical Commissioning Project Engineer plays a pivotal role in overseeing technical operations and providing professional services across various teams within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to engineering teams.
- Foster business development initiatives and support project management activities.
- Mentor and train staff on industry best practices and processes.
- Manage project schedules and lead safety training sessions.
- Ensure quality assurance across existing projects and client engagements.
- Cultivate relationships with strategic clients to enhance business growth.
Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel to various job sites within the designated region is essential.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in HVACR, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management, or an Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role related to maintenance, construction, or engineering controls, with at least 7 years in the commissioning industry.
- Proficient in managing the integration of building systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, and automation systems.
- Strong mentoring and coaching capabilities, with excellent presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Involvement in trade associations.
- Relevant certifications such as P.E., CCP, CxA, or CEM.
- OSHA30 or other workplace safety certifications.
