Job Title: Certified Assembly Technician

RTX is seeking a skilled Aerospace Technician to join our team in the assembly and testing of Ram Air Turbines (RATs) used for aircraft emergency power generation.

About the Role:
  • Assemble and test RATs to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
  • Install, calibrate, and operate various types of instrumentation
  • Use basic measuring gauges, such as micrometers, plug or thread gauges, etc.
  • Fabricate test equipment or test hardware to blueprints, sketches, or engineering drawings
  • Perform quality control self-assessments on the test lab areas
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with supervision, engineering, and other support personnel to resolve problems related to test or quality
  • Provide interface with customer or government personnel as required
  • Maintain test equipment and lab assets
  • Document results, including collection of SPC data as applicable
  • Develop, review, and revise Test Lab Instructions in collaboration with engineering
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain Operator Certification
  • Previous manufacturing experience and experience in aviation or aerospace assembly are preferred
