Job Title: Driver/Warehouse Team Member

At Johnstone Supply, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Driver/Warehouse Team Member to join our team in Bloomington, MN. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately and safely receive, process, and store incoming products
  • Prepare, pack, and scan products for pick-up and delivery
  • Deliver orders efficiently, safely, and on time
Requirements:Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma / GED required OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6 months experience in warehouse operations in a wholesale environment
  • Experience driving a forklift
  • Experience with computer or barcode driven inventory management systems
Job-Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Warehouse Operations:
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge and skill in the use of inventory management systems and office software
  • Basic math skills sufficient to manage inventory, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to use computer systems and manual procedures for organizing and identifying products and communicating with coworkers
  • Adequate physical strength and stamina to repeatedly lift, carry, move, and set down up to 75 pounds
  • Skill in operation of heavy equipment, including delivery vehicles, forklift, pallet jack, and order picker
  • Strict attention to detail

The physical demands of this job include lifting, carrying, and loading up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the day; climbing and balancing on ladders and equipment; walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling; and reaching, pushing, pulling, and manipulating. The employee is also frequently required to lift in excess of 100 pounds with mechanical assistance or the assistance of coworkers.

The work environment is typically a warehouse environment without air conditioning, which may include hot and cold temperatures, dust, dirt, and noise.
