About the Job

Mbanq is looking for a skilled Risk Management Director to lead our BSA/AML and Compliance team. As a critical component of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to drive compliance and risk management efforts.
  2. Expertise: Stay current on BSA/AML, OFAC regulations, and related compliance requirements.
  3. Oversight: Ensure adherence to compliance requirements, including UAR submissions, for each sponsor financial institution.
  4. Solutions: Provide tailored compliance and regulatory solutions to FinTech partners.
  5. Analytics: Monitor and analyze reports and transaction data to identify trends and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in Compliance and AML roles, including leadership experience.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of BSA/AML Compliance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and interpretation.
