Lead Clinical Nurse Position at Confluence Health

Overview of the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team at Confluence Health. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage the day-to-day activities of our Rheumatology Department, promoting efficient and high-quality patient care.

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $84,000-$114,000 based on experience, with a relocation bonus available.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Department Leadership: Collaborate with the Director and Practice Manager to determine staffing needs, develop department goals, and implement quality improvements.
  2. Patient Care Coordination: Assist with scheduling patients, respond to their needs, and provide direct care as required.
  3. Clinical Staff Development: Orient, schedule, and supervise new staff members, providing training and skills development opportunities.
  4. Quality Improvement: Participate in workshops, seminars, and conferences to update knowledge and report significant findings to staff.
  5. Policy Development: Develop policies, procedures, and standards for the department.
  6. Budget Management: Work with the Director and Practice Manager to meet budgetary compliance by monitoring productivity, minimizing overtime, and problem-solving with staff.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Current licensure in the state of Washington (RCW 18.88) or licensure through the Multistate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills related to Windows navigation, mouse usage, keyboarding, email communication, and password management.

Degree Requirement: A Bachelor's degree is desired but not required.
