YOUR ROLE: You will oversee financial operations ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), while providing analytical insights and timely communication regarding financial and operational accounting matters. You will also track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assist the organization in making informed operational decisions and achieving strategic objectives.

YOUR DUTIES:
  • Lead the financial closing process, guaranteeing precision and adherence to timelines.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and forecasts.
  • Formulate the annual operating budget.
  • Examine balance sheets to confirm compliance with GAAP and year-end audit requirements.
  • Establish and maintain weekly KPIs to ensure the attainment of set performance targets.
  • Oversee the physical inventory process to ensure control measures are upheld.
  • Update and manage the costing system to deliver an accurate representation of product profitability.
  • Effectively manage direct reports to enhance performance, technical expertise, business acumen, and collaboration with other departments.
YOUR REQUIREMENTS:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is mandatory.
  • At least five years of accounting experience is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills essential.
  • Experience in preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting processes and protocols.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably EPICOR, including consolidation reporting tools.
  • A positive demeanor with a keen eye for detail.
  • CPA Certification is preferred.
