Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation: Assist in preparing ingredients as per recipes or supervisor's guidance.
  • Processing: Participate in the baking process, including shaping and baking dough, and preparing beverages according to established recipes.
  • Display: Ensure products are properly labeled and attractively presented to enhance sales.
  • Stocking: Manage deliveries, organize stock, and maintain shelves using the First-In First-Out (FIFO) method.
  • Replenishment: Monitor product expiration dates to ensure timely removal and restocking of items.
  • Sales Support: Accurately wrap and package items as requested by customers.
  • Workplace Safety: Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to safety regulations.
  • Cleaning: Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure cleanliness and upkeep.
  • Loss Prevention: Safeguard department assets and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Product Disposal: Handle expired and recalled items responsibly.
  • Demonstrations: Conduct product demos to promote sales under supervision.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to customers, addressing their needs and introducing product samples.
  • Cash Handling: Follow cash handling procedures and ensure accurate checkout processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a bakery or customer service role is preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures effectively.
  • Familiarity with the baking process.
  • Flexible availability to meet departmental needs.
Skills Required:
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity for operating equipment.
  • Capability to lift 30 lbs or more with appropriate tools.
