Senior Technical Lead, .NET Development

KPMG is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Lead, .NET Development to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a remote work opportunity.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership for onshore and offshore development teams, technical project leaders, and developers.
- Participate in developing and mentoring employees to build high-performing teams.
- Responsible for all phases of the system development and implementation process, including analysis, design, development, testing, and ongoing support for the client area's application systems in an environment of diverse development platforms.
- Act as a primary client contact responsible for fulfilling project requirements; coordinate activities with Information Technology (IT) management.
- Manage project planning, scheduling, status reporting, and project budgets; establish and analyze staffing requirements within guidelines; responsible for implementing projects consistent with long-range IT plans and installation standards with Portfolio Management to monitor all demands in the pipeline and supervise implementation of demands.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and professional organizations; perform related duties as assigned or requested.
- Minimum eight years of recent experience with in-depth knowledge of the system development life cycle, the clients' areas functions and systems, as well as application program development alternatives.
- Experience managing and directing systems development, and systems maintenance project teams with extensive experience supervising globally dispersed teams.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- Extensive experience with resolving complex application and business issues; proven ability to juggle multiple projects and work streams.
- Excellent understanding of Agile Methodologies (preferably SCRUM); background with Software Architecture and Design Patterns; strong understanding of SOLID design principles of programming and OOP.
- Strong .NET Framework fundamentals, Cloud Technologies (such as Azure or AWS) and profound experience with CI/CD tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Azure/AWS/GCP DevOps.
- Substantial working experience of MS SQL and SQL programming; Visual Studio 2019, SQL Management Studio, Code Repository Tool (preferably GIT/Bitbucket), Jenkins, SharePoint; background with a Project Management Tool (Preferably JIRA).
- Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, analytical, and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork.
