Job Title: Space Suit Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Space Suit Systems Engineer to join our team at MRI Technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing next-generation space suits for NASA's deep space exploration missions.

About the Role:
  • Design and develop space suit systems, including life support, communication, and mobility components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate space suit systems with other spacecraft systems.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot space suit performance issues to ensure optimal operation in extreme environments.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
  • Work closely with NASA engineers and technicians to ensure compliance with agency requirements and standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (e.g., Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical).
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in space suit design, development, and testing.
  • Excellent understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with NASA test processes and procedures.
  • Familiarity with electro-mechanical hardware elements, data acquisition systems, and LabVIEW programming.
Compensation and Benefits:

Our competitive salary range is $95,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
