Electrical Engineer Job Description

At PI Physik Instrumente, LP, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for our high-precision positioning systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop control system architectures and schematics using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and ensure seamless integration of control systems.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to control system design, implementation, and maintenance activities.
  • Update reporting, technical documents, and user manuals as necessary.
Requirements:
  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of work experience in motion systems hardware development.
  • Experience in aspects of electrical design, including component selection, system architecture, design verification, and documentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate system requirements into Mechatronics solutions.
