In the role of Installation Energy Project Manager, you will leverage your consulting, analytical, and strategic acumen to manage projects for the Department of Defense (DoD). Your contributions will support a comprehensive range of installation energy programs, positioning you as a trusted advisor to our clients. You will be tasked with identifying, analyzing, and evaluating multifaceted systems, policies, and processes to enhance installation energy resilience.

Your oversight will encompass the initiatives we undertake for the DoD, ensuring the delivery of solutions that maintain warfighting readiness and effectiveness through energy-related policies and governance. This includes facilitating resilient, efficient, clean, and cyber-secure energy for defense forces, weapon systems, and installations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Over 20 years of experience in energy project management.
  • At least 10 years of program or project management experience within DoD utilities or energy sectors, Federal Agency utilities, or large-scale private utility systems.
  • Proven experience in evaluating installation energy initiatives and fostering partnerships with industry stakeholders, utility companies, and public agencies to advance DoD energy objectives.
  • Expertise in reviewing existing statutes, policies, guidance, and legislation related to installation energy.
  • In-depth knowledge of DoD organizational structure and the Office of the Secretary of Defense's installation energy program portfolio.
  • Familiarity with legislative and policy frameworks governing installation energy.
  • Proficient in addressing program or project execution challenges, coordinating communications and meetings, managing project timelines, and identifying gaps, impacts, and risks.
  • Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
  • A Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or Management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience at the Office of the Secretary of Defense level is advantageous.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
