Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse delivers outstanding nursing care to residents in a senior living environment.
Daily Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate residents to determine their physical, emotional, and environmental requirements.
2. Observe residents' health status and communicate any alterations in their condition.
3. Execute resident care tasks under the supervision of the Assisted Living Director.
4. Support the Medication Management Program.
5. Collaborate on care plans.
6. Engage in the performance enhancement initiatives of Assisted Living.
7. Exhibit knowledge of emergency protocols and react suitably.
8. Record assessments of nursing actions, including resident feedback.
Qualifications for Success:
- Approach work with a positive attitude.
- Function effectively as part of a team.
- Hold a degree from an accredited RN/LVN/LPN program.
- Possess at least one year of nursing experience in a senior care environment.
- Experience in Assisted Living and/or dementia care is preferred.
Licensure and Certifications:
- Maintain a current, active, and unencumbered Nursing License in the applicable state (LVN/RN/LPN).
