Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Firefighter/Paramedic to join our team at the Marysville Fire District. As a Firefighter/Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care and treatment to patients in the field, as well as participating in firefighting activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency incidents involving fire and provide medical care to patients
  • Participate in firefighting activities, including rescue, protection of exposures, and extinguishment of fires
  • Administer emergency medical treatment to patients, including initiating and maintaining airway, breathing, and circulation support
  • Transport patients to medical facilities for further treatment, as needed
  • Provide patient care and treatment at the emergency scene and during transport
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Eligibility to apply for Firefighter/Paramedic training opportunity shall be three years' experience at the District as a Firefighter/EMT
  • Completion of one full year of full-time paid uniform experience as a paramedic with a fire district or municipal agency
  • Prior experience as a volunteer or career-level firefighter is desirable
