Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Patient Safety Specialist to join our team at Kedren Community Health Center Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing potential safety risks in our organization, as well as implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

About the Role: The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management. You will work closely with our clinical staff to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them. Your expertise will help us maintain a safe and supportive environment for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and address potential safety risks in our organization
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Lead quality improvement projects from start to finish, including planning, implementation, and evaluation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing, Quality Management, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality improvement in a healthcare facility, preferably with a federally qualified health center doing business in California
  • Project management skills, with experience in leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
