Job Description

This role involves independently preparing estimates for construction projects, including soliciting and evaluating subcontractor bids, and scopes of work. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately taking quantities from project documents and developing unit costs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Auditing and analyzing subcontractor pricing input
  • Developing value management skills to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Providing information to senior estimators and preconstruction managers to develop accurate and concise clarifications and assumptions
  • Collaborating with project management teams to ensure estimates are developed on time and within budget
