Job Summary

The First Shift Production Operator is a critical role within our manufacturing team at Pompeian. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating production equipment on the production lines, ensuring that all safety rules and quality procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate assigned equipment, such as packers and labelers, to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Monitor product quality and report any deviations from the standard to the Quality Control team.
  • Assist in troubleshooting of machines when they are not running properly, minimizing downtime and waste.
  • Perform housekeeping within your area to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ensure all work meets company environmental goals and adheres to Pompeian's mission, goals, and core values.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machinery and follow written procedures.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift between 25-50 lbs on occasion and stand for long periods of time.
  • Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
