Position Overview

Caldera Care is seeking Healthcare Facility Administrators in Training to join our organization in a dynamic role that offers valuable experience in the healthcare sector.

Shifts Available: AM, PM, NOC

Compensation: $50,000 - $80,000 based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

The Administrator in Training (A.I.T.) program is designed for individuals to gain hands-on experience and knowledge to become licensed nursing home administrators. A.I.T.s will engage in various operational aspects of the facility, receiving guidance and evaluation from their mentors and community leaders.

As an Administrator in Training, you will:

  • Assist in evaluating the operations of the nursing facility.
  • Serve as a liaison among residents, families, and the broader community.
  • Compile and analyze reports on budget forecasts, revenue, and expenditures.
  • Ensure respectful treatment of all employees, residents, and families.
  • Engage with community groups and establish relationships with local healthcare leaders.
  • Monitor industry regulations and compliance, implementing necessary changes.
  • Utilize time effectively to study federal and state regulations and best practices.
  • Understand staffing requirements and adhere to company standards.
  • Support HR and risk management initiatives within the facility.
  • Participate in safety programs and advisory committees.
  • Build and maintain a positive reputation within the industry and community.
  • Collaborate with support teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Understand quality assurance measures and hold team members accountable.
  • Develop innovative strategies to enhance employee engagement and reduce turnover.
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and revenue for effective facility operations.
  • Support clinical practices, including investigations and behavior management.
  • Foster a positive and engaging workplace culture.
  • Align decisions with the core values of Caldera Care.
  • Engage in ongoing learning opportunities, including education and leadership training.
  • Gradually assume leadership responsibilities across various departments.
  • Complete a comprehensive takeover of the facility as part of the training.
  • May transition into an assistant administrator role for further practical experience.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required, preferably in Healthcare Administration or Business.
