  • Take and record vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and body temperature.
  • Make follow-up appointments and communicate with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless care.
  • Collect and maintain accurate laboratory reports, data, and records.
  • Administer medication to patients under the direction of physicians or other medical personnel.
  • Supervise and evaluate the work of Clinic Clerks, Medical Assistants, and Licensed Practical Nurses, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Perform various duties as required to fulfill the functions of the position.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • 24 months of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of treatment alternatives, drug properties, and interactions.
  • Working knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in stressful situations and maintain a calm demeanor.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a strong ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work as a team member and lead others as needed.
Certifications
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Oklahoma.
  • Registered as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Oklahoma.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing for prolonged periods.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Speaking and listening.
  • Walking, reaching, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Environmental Factors
  • Clinic Environment.
  • Exposure to blood-borne pathogens, infectious diseases, and hazardous materials.
