Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Physical Education Teacher to teach a daily 45-minute PE period to each of the five K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade classes. The successful candidate will also supervise unstructured play as well as structured activities during recess, ensuring that students are safe but active on the road to developing the habits that will lead to life-long health.

Responsibilities
  • Teach a daily 45-minute PE period to each of the five K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade classes
  • Supervise unstructured play as well as structured activities during recess
  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging PE lessons that promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement a comprehensive physical education program
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of lead teaching experience in Kindergarten through 4th Grade
