We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Physical Education Teacher to join our team at The Equity Project (TEP) Charter School. As a Physical Education Teacher at TEP, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students and contribute to our mission of providing a world-class education to historically under-resourced student communities.

About the Role

As a Physical Education Teacher at TEP, you will be responsible for teaching all students on one grade level in classes that emphasize physical activity through skill instruction, structured sports, and cooperative games. You will also incorporate health content, emphasizing nutrition and fitness concepts. Additionally, you will coach a number of TEP competitive sports teams, which include basketball teams, a girls' volleyball team, and more.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of lead teaching experience, at least 2 of which must have been in 4th through 9th grade classrooms
  • Deeply aligned to TEP's mission of providing a world-class education to historically under-resourced student communities
