Senior Tax Accountant

Tandym Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of firmwide tax-related activities, including preparing Federal, State, and International business filings, local tax registrations, and sales/value added tax returns.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare Tax Filings: Prepare various Federal, State, and International business filings, local tax registrations, and sales/value added tax returns.
- Reconcile Tax Accounts: Reconcile tax accounts and payments while researching issues, as needed.
- Research Tax Issues: Research Federal, State, and International tax issues and prepare memos, as needed.
- Assist with Projects: Assist with projects like automation revolving state tax compliance.
- Coordinate Foreign Tax Obligations: Coordinate and monitor foreign tax obligations with internal and external teams.
- Maintain Tax Database: Maintain tax database/records.
- Prepare Work Papers: Prepare and coordinate work papers for US and foreign tax returns.
- Implement Finance System: Participate in the implementation of a new finance system pertaining to tax matters.
- Work with Partner Accounting Team: Work with the Partner Accounting team on various tax-related issues.
- Produce Tax Reports: Produce tax reports for partners.
- Experience: 5+ years of Tax Accounting experience.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Background: Experience in a Public Accounting role/setting.
- Skills: Microsoft Excel proficient, solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills, great interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), strong attention to detail, highly organized.
- CPA and/or Parts Passed: CPA and/or parts passed.
- Partnership Experience: Partnership experience.
