Position Overview

Riveon Mental Health and Recovery is seeking dedicated Residential Aides to join our team at the Women's Residential Facility.

Role Summary:

The Residential Aide plays a crucial role in supervising and guiding the daily routines of residential clients, ensuring a supportive and structured environment. This position also includes providing childcare support for the Children's Program when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate residents' activities and behavior throughout the shift.
  • Communicate any urgent situations to the Residential Coordinator promptly.
  • Maintain accurate daily records of client activities, progress notes, and behavioral issues.
  • Document the overall condition of the residential facility on an hourly basis.
  • Facilitate program schedules and manage house operations during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure adherence to self-administered medication protocols by clients.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Applicants must comply with the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board's Code of Ethics and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of addiction as a health condition. A minimum of three years of experience in treatment or recovery settings is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage with a diverse client population.

Educational Background:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Certification Requirements:

Candidates must be eligible for CDCA certification and are required to obtain it within 90 days of employment. Riveon Mental Health and Recovery covers the costs associated with CDCA training and certification.

Travel Requirements:

Minimal travel is expected, primarily local.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with a schedule of 3rd shift from 10 PM to 8 AM.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $13 - $16.50 per hour, which includes a shift differential for weekend, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
