Job Summary:

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Staff Nurse II, Medical Acute to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an acute setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, coordinate, and deliver nursing care to patients in an acute setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions of care.
  • Provide patient and family education to promote health and wellness.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of California.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent relevant experience in an acute care setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • 6 months of area-specific acute care experience within the last 2 years.

Work Environment:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced acute care setting, with frequent exposure to patients with varying medical conditions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
