Nurse Manager

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager - Administrative to lead our nursing team in providing exceptional patient care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of nursing practice, ensuring the delivery of quality patient care, and promoting a culture of excellence within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence.
- Quality Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Staff Development: Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Communication: Foster effective communication among nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective management of budgets.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting.
- Certifications: Current RN license in New York State; American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification in a relevant specialty preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
