Your Role:

As a Field Service Technician II at Baxter, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing medical devices, working with our team to ensure our products are functioning accurately. You will also have the opportunity to demonstrate leadership by assisting with training other team members and addressing customers.

Your Team:

The field service team at Baxter works within hospital and service setting environments to repair medical devices. We offer a range of benefits, including dental, medical, and vision insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and more.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Performing electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned products.
  • Troubleshooting devices and repairing any malfunctioning components.
  • Using the appropriate tools to make required adjustments and repairs.
  • Providing on-call coverage, up to 24/7 basis, including weekends and holidays, which may require customer account visits.
  • Loading, unloading, and removing medical products, weighing up to 1680 pounds.
  • Generating service revenue and completing activities required under service contract.
  • Safely operating a fleet vehicle or company car ranging in size from a cargo van up to a 26,000 pound truck.

What You'll Bring:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Obtain and maintain a DOT physical card.
  • Prior technical or mechanical repair work.
  • Applicable technical or trade school training.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base hourly/salary range of XX to XX plus an annual incentive bonus, commission, and equity target. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, business line, and geographic/office location.
