Facilities Maintenance Technician II Job Description

At Greenleaf Hospitality Group, we are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our facilities and maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, performing routine repairs, and troubleshooting complex issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and provide exceptional customer service to our guests and tenants.
  • Participate in team and department meetings to stay informed and contribute to the success of the team.
  • Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of duties.
  • Monitor inventories and maintain public spaces, mechanical equipment, and other facilities as needed.
  • Perform and supervise maintenance-related repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Maintain the hotel's appearance, with a focus on quality and attention to detail from a guest and tenant perspective.
  • Review daily work orders and provide reports to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Exercise a sense of urgency to best accommodate guests and tenants, while ensuring all projects are completed on time.
  • Understand and practice proper lock-out/tag-out procedures in accordance with OSHA standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in facilities maintenance and repair.
  • Outgoing and welcoming personality with guests, tenants, and the community.
  • Logical thinking and personal judgment to perform a variety of tasks that require special skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage yourself without supervision.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to follow directions and procedures.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
