Job Title: Secure Access Service Lead

Koniag Government Services, a leading provider of enterprise solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Secure Access Service Lead to support our government customer in Washington, DC. This position is a key opportunity for a future new business venture.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage Secure Access Service Edge solutions to provide secure networking for our clients.
  • Lead the deployment and configuration of SASE solutions to enable secure access to applications and data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure network architectures.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and mitigate security threats.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams on SASE best practices.
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies to enhance SASE capabilities.
  • Develop and implement network security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to maintain a strong security posture.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in networking and cybersecurity.
  • Certifications in AZ-900, Cisco, and Azure.
  • TS/SCI clearance required.
  • Strong experience in networking technologies such as VPNs, SD-WAN, and cloud networking.
  • Expertise in Cisco and Azure networking technologies.
  • Proficiency in network security, including firewall management and intrusion detection/prevention.
  • Ability to analyze network traffic and security logs to identify threats.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional certifications in cybersecurity, such as CISSP or CEH.
  • Experience in implementing SASE solutions for government clients.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices for network security and compliance.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies in cloud networking and cybersecurity.
Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment with a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations, and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
