Axient is in search of a dedicated and skilled Senior Systems Engineer/Logistics Analyst to contribute to our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) initiatives, providing expert guidance and strategic recommendations to the Standard Missile Program Office.
  • Ensure that all requirements for the planning and execution of Life Cycle Sustainment for Standard Missile are effectively communicated and implemented.
  • Offer acquisition and engineering support, along with technical analysis and subject matter expertise for both current and future system designs.
  • Assist in major program milestones by reviewing Objective Evidence for Integrated Logistics Support impacts.
  • Contribute to the development of Request for Proposal documents and other essential technical documentation.
  • Conduct logistics planning, analysis, and assessment to support Standard Missile Programs throughout their lifecycle.
  • Develop and coordinate logistics planning documents to implement effective product support strategies.
  • Facilitate logistics forums and working groups, reporting on progress and managing tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Support the transition to operational activities and assess readiness for maintenance and operational acceptance.
  • Prepare and review engineering analyses, reports, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders across the Department of Defense and other agencies for information sharing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a STEM-related field.
  • Over 20 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Experience in missile defense component development and major weapon system design reviews.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge in Integrated Product Support Elements and requirements management.
  • Familiarity with contract development and DoD acquisition processes.
  • Experience in technical documentation and briefing delivery.
