About the Organization:

Our client, a well-established clinic in the Denton/Argyle region, is in search of a committed Medical Assistant to enhance their workforce. This clinic provides a nurturing atmosphere with standard weekday hours and avenues for professional development.

Role Summary:

The Medical Assistant will be integral to the daily functions of the clinic, aiding in patient care and facilitating efficient clinical operations.

Primary Duties:

  • Greeting and preparing patients for consultations
  • Documenting vital signs and patient medical histories
  • Assisting with patient records and documentation
  • Supporting healthcare providers during procedures such as casting and splinting

Required Qualifications:

  • MA Certification is mandatory
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Medical Assistant role
  • Experience with ECW (eClinicalWorks) is preferred
  • Background in orthopedics is advantageous
  • NCT (Non-Certified Technician) certification is highly sought after

Additional Information:

  • Patient load: 40-80 patients daily
  • Clinic locations: Argyle (Mondays) and Denton (Tuesday-Friday)
  • This position is contract-to-hire, with a conversion timeline of 720 hours
