DOCS Health is seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a variety of settings, including our mobile treatment centers and fixed-clinic locations.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture.
- Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing, including labeling and packaging.
- Transport blood samples to laboratory facilities for testing.
- Maintain accurate records of blood sample collection and testing results.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient blood sample collection and testing.
- Phlebotomy Certification - required
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
- Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
- Utilize universal precautions for patient care
- Experience working with military - preferred
- Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
- Proficient with computer programs
- Must have weekend availability
