**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Assembler 1/Swing to join our production team at UFP Industries. As an Assembler 1/Swing, you will be responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling the finished product according to customer specifications.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Set up work area and ensure all necessary tools and materials are available.
  • Fabricate and assemble component parts according to customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Operate hand tools and equipment to complete the assembly process.
  • Stack completed products and ensure they are properly labeled and packaged.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure all equipment is safe to operate.
  • Complete pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and report any issues or concerns.
  • Participate in safety, quality, and continuous improvement programs and meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • No minimum experience required, but 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic math and ability to follow instructions.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
