About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Spray Equipment Repairer to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our paint store team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing spray equipment to ensure our customers receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs on all types of spray equipment, including airless, conventional, electrostatic, and pressure washers, at the store or at customers' job sites.
  • Conduct hydraulic and warranty repairs, as well as rebuild pumps and repair branch tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Educate other employees and customers on spray equipment and maintain an inventory of spray parts.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior work experience repairing spray and/or hydraulic pumps and equipment.
  • At least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
