Job Title: Building Energy EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled Building Energy Engineer to join our Technical Services team in Orlando, FL. As a Building Energy Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-impact energy and facility optimization consulting projects, leveraging your expertise in problem-solving, systems analysis, and data analysis to drive sustainability and efficiency for schools, university campuses, hospitals, data centers, and other facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement energy-efficient solutions for clients
- Conduct energy audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement energy-saving plans
- Provide technical recommendations and present them to clients
- Assist clients with the implementation of energy-saving measures
- BA/BS degree in Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, Environmental Science, or equivalent field of study
- Three plus (3+) years of experience in energy efficiency with a minimum of 3 years of relevant building energy analysis experience
- Working knowledge of mechanical and controls systems such as Siemens, JCI, ATS, and others
- Exceptional time management skills to organize and prioritize tasks while juggling multiple deliverables/timelines
- Creative, problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service and a consultative approach
McKinstry offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $63,540 - $98,460 per year, a bonus, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits. We also offer opportunities for professional growth and development through our McKinstry University program.
