Diesel Mechanic

At Duininck Minnesota and South Dakota, we are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing semi-trucks, trailers, and other heavy equipment in our state-of-the-art shop.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including hydraulic components, steering systems, engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
- Diagnose and repair problems related to heavy equipment, utilizing software such as Cummins Insite or CAT SIS.
- Perform safety inspections and maintain accurate documentation of all vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Work effectively with a team of technicians to perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Travel to job sites as needed to perform PMs, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Two-year college or technical school degree or 3 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of operational and mechanical functions of heavy equipment.
- Experience working with heavy trucks, trailers, and medium-duty vehicles.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
