Diesel Mechanic

At Duininck Minnesota and South Dakota, we're seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Spicer, MN. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing semi-trucks, trailers, and other heavy equipment in our state-of-the-art shop.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including hydraulic components, steering systems, engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment, utilizing tools like Cummins Insite and CAT SIS software.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians to ensure efficient and safe equipment operation.
- Travel to job sites as needed to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Document all work performed, including time and materials used, to ensure accurate records.
**Requirements:**
- 2-year college or technical school degree or 3 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and mechanical functions.
- Experience with heavy trucks, trailers, and medium-duty vehicles.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
