IES Residential Inc is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to join their team.
- Complete house rough-in, including measuring, cutting, and pulling wire.
- Install plugs, lights, and other fixtures.
- Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements and plan procedures.
- Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety and ensure specifications are met.
- Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring consistent with specification and local electrical codes.
- Maintain knowledge of and enforce company safety rules and procedures.
- Correct potential hazards or report them to the responsible person.
- Communicate with others, including taking direction from a supervisor and giving direction in a way that is understood.
Experience in new construction residential is preferred.
Active plumbing tradesman license or above is required.
A valid driver's license is necessary.
Candidates must be able to pass and comply with all safety training, background checks, and drug testing requirements.
Ability to bend, crouch, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, and work on ladders and scaffolds is required.
Willingness to travel to required job sites is necessary.
Troubleshooting, NEC Code knowledge, and single-family experience are desirable.
