Residential Electrician

IES Residential Inc is seeking a skilled Electrical Service Technician to join their team.

• Complete house rough-in, including measuring, cutting, and pulling wire
• Install plugs, lights, and other fixtures
• Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements and plan procedures
• Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety and ensure specifications are met
• Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring consistent with specification and local electrical codes
• Maintain knowledge of and enforce company safety rules and procedures
• Quickly correct any potential hazard or promptly report it to the responsible person
• Communicate effectively with others, including taking direction from a supervisor and providing clear direction

Experience in New Construction Residential is preferred.

An active plumbing tradesman license or above is required.

A valid Driver's License is necessary.

Candidates must be able to pass and comply with all safety training, background check, and drug testing requirements.

Ability to bend, crouch, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, and work on ladders and scaffolds is required.

Willingsness to travel to required job sites is necessary.
