- Provide Personalized Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living, attend to their individual needs, and get to know their unique preferences and personalities.
- Notify Management: Inform supervisors of any changes in a resident's condition, recommending adjustments in care and services as needed.
- Life Enriching Activities: Participate in and encourage residents to engage in life skills and other enriching activities, as indicated on their individual profiles.
- Partnerships and Compliance: Collaborate with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, promote Risk Management programs, and adhere to safety rules and regulations.
- Dining Services: Respond to the dining needs of residents and guests, maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards.
- IEA (Invite, Encourage, Assist): Invite, encourage, and assist residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities, as indicated on their ISP and demographic profile.
- Dedication to Serving Seniors: Demonstrate a passion for serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
- Positive Attitude and Flexibility: Possess a positive attitude, flexibility to perform various duties, and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Education and Certifications: High School diploma/GED accepted, and may be required per state regulations. In states where applicable, must maintain certifications.
- Age and Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age and have previous experience working with seniors, preferred.
- Decision-Making and Communication: Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication, and demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Organizational and Time Management: Competent in organizational and time management skills.
