Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer or assist residents in self-administering medications and treatments.
  • Collect, store, and ensure the transport of specific specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Communicate with healthcare providers through various channels including telephone and written forms.
  • Ensure that physician orders, laboratory reports, and other essential documents are accurately scanned and filed in resident records.
  • Assist in developing and updating service plans, keeping the Wellness Director informed of current resident needs and preferences.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Wellness Director.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Meet state or provincial health-related requirements.
  • Maintain a current professional license and CPR certification if currently LPN/LVN.
  • Hold any other certifications as mandated by state or provincial regulations.
