Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Palette Hotels. As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to a positive and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain room assignments from your Supervisor at the beginning of the shift and ensure that your cart is correctly stocked.
  • Follow a set pattern of steps for daily cleaning of occupied and check-out rooms to ensure that nothing is missed.
  • Check rooms for damages, furniture, and equipment, and report any issues to your Supervisor immediately.
  • Provide guest assistance, directions, and information as requested, and respond to guest questions in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform other duties as requested by your Supervisor, including providing instruction and/or guidance for guest and employee safety in fire or other emergency situations.
Requirements
  • Service orientation and knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to convey information and ideas effectively.
  • Ability to read and understand directions on cleaning chemicals and use them in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Weekend evening and holidays availability is a must.
