Laundry Attendant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team at Palette Hotels. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that hotel laundry/linen/uniforms are cleaned and stored in a timely, organized manner according to policies and procedures.

• Laundry Operations: Responsible for the overall operation of the laundry room, including sorting, cleaning, and folding linen.
• Equipment Maintenance: Assists in maintaining laundry equipment, including washers and dryers, to ensure optimal performance.
• Inventory Management: Assists in daily linen counts and monthly inventories to ensure accurate tracking of linen supplies.
• Quality Control: Inspects all laundry and linens to ensure they meet quality standards, and records any damaged or stained items.
• Uniform Care: Keeps hotel uniforms in good, clean condition to maintain a professional image.

• Experience: Experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Ability to follow oral directions, good attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
• Physical Demands: Extensive walking, bending, and stretching is required, as well as carrying and/or lifting approximately 50 pounds and pushing and/or pulling approximately 150 pounds.
