The Engineering Technician Specialist provides critical support services to the Engineering team at Vital Energy Services Inc. This role requires a strong understanding of administrative concepts, industry standards, and regulations related to the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide data and information to subsurface engineering and field operations staff.
  • Interpret daily reports and create wellbore diagrams.
  • Manage and analyze surveillance data, recognizing variations and opportunities.
  • Support direct supervisor requests and collaborate with engineers and field personnel.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of operations.
  • Perform data loading and data management updates.
  • Execute routine tasks with supervision.
Requirements:
  • A basic understanding of data flow through field and production accounting systems.
  • Experience supporting engineers in well data.
  • Proficiency in extracting and recording data (Access, Excel, PowerBI, GIS).
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Effective team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Working Conditions:

Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled environment with moderate noise levels.

Physical Demands:

Work requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate a computer keyboard at a moderate skill level.
