Mobile Radiologic Technologist

As a Mobile Radiologic Technologist with DispatchHealth Management, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in their homes or at facilities. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing cutting-edge technology to make a meaningful impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Travel to various locations, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and correctional institutions, to perform portable x-rays and other diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Determine proper electronic and technical factors for each patient, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
- Operate a variety of electronic equipment, including x-ray machines, EKGs, and Holter Monitors, to obtain diagnostic images.
- Ensure equipment is available and in working order prior to each shift, and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Assist with order taking, validation of studies, communication with radiologists, and other administrative tasks as directed.
- Meet all state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R).
- Hold a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
- Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds, and walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
