Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review engineering plans and specifications for various projects.

  • Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to resolve construction and design challenges.
  • Guide technical staff in drafting and inspection processes.

  • Manage consultant agreements and collaborate with internal departments for compliance.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of two years of experience as a Professional Structural Engineer.
  • Proficiency in engineering computations and design preparation.
  • Experience in project management and an understanding of subordinate roles.
  • A valid driver’s license for the state of Washington.
  • Certification as a Professional Engineer or Engineer in Training, with the ability to obtain state registration within one year.
  • The capability to pass a federal background check.

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with computer-aided design software, such as AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of Washington State Energy Code compliance.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Understanding of state and federal regulations related to engineering and construction.

Work Environment:
This position involves both office and fieldwork, with occasional exposure to varying weather conditions. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
