Job Summary

MOBIS is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for processes, materials, and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Quality Control team in planning and directing activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Manage and monitor torque audits using Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts, data forms, and Torque Auditor.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams and management on operational, safety, and quality issues.
  • Develop and implement quality documents, including work instructions, procedures, and flowcharts.
  • Inspect and monitor the quality of products, repairs, workmanship, and labeling.
  • Interface with management and internal trainers to develop and implement training programs.
  • Record and maintain team member records, including attendance, work hours, training, and performance.
  • Provide regular quality reports to management and team members.
  • Implement and oversee corrective actions and discussion planners to address performance issues.
  • Maintain and manage good quality processes and 5-S standards within the Quality Control department.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote a safe work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus 5 or more years of experience in a leadership role in Quality Control within a high-capacity manufacturing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to make good decisions and take decisive action in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates or bachelor's degree.
  • Working knowledge of 8D, 5 Why, and six sigma.
  • 1-3 years of automotive experience.
Working Conditions

50% office, 50% production floor.
