Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team at Consarc Corporation. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for planning, laying out, and performing diversified work, including short run production and job shop (custom work). You will work from complex specifications, drawings, and welding symbols, and may provide technical direction to others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, layout, and perform diversified work, including short run production and job shop (custom work)
  • Work from complex specifications, drawings, and welding symbols
  • May provide technical direction to others
  • Proficient with MIG and TIG welding
  • Experience with Plasma and oxyacetylene cutting equipment
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Understanding reading blueprints and symbols
  • Able to work independently
  • Shall possess personal hand tools
  • Basic computer skills required

Physical Requirements: The physical demands and characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, stoop, hear, use fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms. Standing and walking for extended periods of time (estimated at 8-10 hours per day) is also required.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience using overhead and jib cranes, experience with lift machinery such as forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift.
